The Campanile Foundation

All gifts to San Diego State University are accepted and administered by The Campanile Foundation (TCF), an official 501 [c] [3] auxiliary organization of San Diego State University.

The Tax I.D. number is 33-0868418.

The foundation has played a key role in helping SDSU since its inception in 1999. Gifts from corporations, foundations and individuals fuel new and existing initiatives.

TCF Leadership

Mary Ruth Carleton, vice president for SDSU's Division of University Relations and Development, is the CEO of the Campanile Foundation.

The Campanile Foundation is led by a board of directors of highly qualified civic and business leaders.  Christopher "Kit" Sickels is the current chairman. William Tong, Ph.D., is the foundation's faculty representative.

Most board members are San Diego State alumni, who give their personal expertise, time and treasure to support SDSU.

Board members serve three-year terms, with the exception of a one-year term for a student representative.
