International Student Housing

There are a wide variety of options for International students to live in on campus. Whether you are looking to live in a traditional double, suite single room, semi-suite double or in an apartment setting, you'll find the right home away from home at SDSU! Click here for informational about the residence halls. Please note that first-time freshmen attending SDSU are required to live on campus. Visit the Live-On Requirement page for more information.

International Students have the option to live in our Global Pathways living community at Tarastec Apartments.

Global Pathways

Global Pathways is a residential community designed to provide students with a unique opportunity to live in an environment that fosters academic excellence, while encouraging cross-cultural understanding, cooperation and friendship.  Approximately half the residents are from the United States and half are international students. Students get to know each other and share their cultures through a variety of social and educational programs.

Global Pathways is open to upper-division, graduate and exchange students.  Selection for the program is competitive and based on student interest in community participation and cross cultural learning.  Residents commit to be actively involved in the community. Visit the Global Pathways page to learn more.
