Lavender Graduation

Lavender Graduation is open to all students graduating in the spring semester or earlier who identify as lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, or allies. It celebrates the achievements of undergraduate and graduate students who are part of our LGBTQIA campus, and also gives awards to faculty, staff or administrators who have enhanced the campus climate for LGBTQIA students. Students receive a certificate and rainbow cord to wear with their academic regalia during commencement and an invitation to join the LGBTQIA Alumni Chapter.

To participate, e-mail Dr. Esther Rothblum with the following: 

  • Your name as you would like it to appear on a certificate 
  • Undergraduate or graduate degree you are receiving
  • Your major & minor 
  • The estimated number of guests
