 Creative Campus Contributions

Urban designer and landscape architect Vicki Estrada created our memorable walk to the SDSU trolley. The diversity of shapes and curves blanket a tiered grassy landscape that guides visitors and daily commuters to our campus. The spectrum of images and greenery introduce viewers to something new and intriguing.

Creating

Vicki has been President of Estrada Land Planning since 1984. Her firm’s creative expertise has assisted with the Balboa Park master plan, the San Diego Convention Expansion Project, San Isidro border crossing area, Tweet Street Park downtown San Diego, The Robb Field skateboard park in Ocean Beach, and numerous other projects that help beautify our community.

Contributing

Contributing nationally to the American Society of Landscape Architects, Vicki has served as the Vice President and as national conference chair. As a San Diego transgender community leader, Vicki successfully served as the chair for the Californian Transgender Leadership Summit. She has a strong belief that members of the transgender community should be active participants in the community at large as well as in LGBT related things.
