Fit For Summer

The Aztec Recreation Center offers two promotions in March.
A member stretching at the ARC.

The countdown is on. There are only 126 days left to get fit for the summer, and the Aztec Recreation Center is the place to be.

Join the ARC between March 1 and 10 and get half-off the first three months of membership with no initiation fee. The offer is valid for first-time members only and requires a four-month minimum introductory period.

  • Students: $9.50/month
  • Affiliates: $14.50/month
  • Community: $19.50/month

Open house

In addition, SDSU students, faculty and staff are invited to enjoy free access to the ARC and Aztec Aquaplex facilities on March 1 with a current SDSU Red ID.

Access will include:

  • ARC– SDSU's 24 hour Fitness Center (offer valid 7 a.m. – 10 p.m.)
  • Aquaplex – Pool and Tennis (offer valid 10 a.m. – 8 p.m.)
  • ARC group fitness classes
  • Basketball and indoor soccer 
  • DJ in the ARC from 7 to 9 p.m. (Sponsored by Associated Students Cultural Arts and Special Events, CASE)

Participants must sign a liability waiver. This offer does not apply to intermural sports participation and does not constitute an ARC membership.

About the ARC

The ARC offers 76,000 square feet of fitness and recreation. Up to 60 group fitness classes are offered, including spinning and yoga. The facility has four multipurpose gyms, an indoor climbing wall and a weight-training room.

ARC members get free access to wellness nutrition counseling and swimming at the Aztec Aquaplex. In addition, certified personal trainers are available by appointment.
