About 850 graduating seniors invaded the SDSU Bookstore the night of Thursday, May 6, for the fourth annual Gradnite.
Showing appreciation
"Gradnite is a way of showing appreciation for eligible graduates and is a night of fun, food and prizes." said Jayne LaPorta, SDSU Bookstore director of merchandise.
Giveaways galore
The event, emceed by alumna and Alumni Association Associate Director Tammy Blackburn, included food and drinks, cap decorating, discounts on clothing and gifts, and giveaways. Giveaway prizes included:
- Class rings from Josten’s
- iPod Touches from Apple
- Graduation frames from Framing Success
- Beach Cruiser Bicycle from the SDSU Alumni Association
Students unable to attend GradFest were also able to speak with vendors graduation photos and flowers at the event.
