New Admissions Site Launches

SDSU’s admissions website has a fresh look and improved information for prospective students.

San Diego State University’s Office of Admissions launched on Tuesday its new and improved website at www.sdsu.edu/admissions.

With a fresh look and feel, the site combines information previously found on separate sites for prospective students and applicants to SDSU.

The admissions site offers application information for freshman, transfer, graduate, out-of-state, international and veteran students, as well as resources for parents and counselors. In addition, prospective students can browse the redesigned pages to learn about the SDSU experience and life as an Aztec.

“We’re proud of the new site’s intuitive navigation and inviting design,” said Sandra Cook, SDSU Enrollment Services. “It’s a clean, simple way to present complex admission information along with colorful graphics and images of our beautiful campus.”

As fall 2012 admission notifications draw near, SDSU staff and faculty are encouraged to become familiar with the new site. Student questions not addressed on the site should be directed to the Prospective Student Center at 619-594-6336. Faculty and staff questions about the website may be sent to Enrollment Services Communications.
