Leslie Gail Herrmann died March 25, after a valiant battle with cancer.

Leslie began her career at SDSU in 1986 in the Office of Counseling Services and Placement.  She later worked in the Department of Geological Sciences and the School of Nursing before transferring to the Office of Academic Services where she worked for 10 years as office manager and assisted with catalog and class schedule production.

In addition to working with faculty and staff, she assisted students as the administrative support coordinator for Mortar Board National Honor Society and the SDSU Honors Council.

In 2009, she moved to the Undergraduate Division in the Office of Academic Scholarships to continue her work with students.

A Celebration of Life was held April 22 at the Parma Payne Goodall Alumni Center.

She is survived by her father, Donald Herrmann, her children, Tyler and Kelsey Herrmann, sisters, Linda Hoage and Donna Herrmann, and many nieces and nephews.
