Students can win tickets for Live Nation sponsored events and receive discounts on MTS services by taking a survey.
The Metropolitan Transit System is partnering with Live Nation to give SDSU students the opportunity to win tickets to great concerts this fall by taking a survey.
This is part of the MTS initiative to find out what students think about public transit services.
Additional discounts
MTS is also offering students a big discount on a transit pass good for unlimited travel on MTS buses and trolleys through the end of 2012. Semester passes are on sale for $155 at Viejas Arena from Aug. 20 to Sept. 28.
There are many reasons to purchase a transit semester pass. Riding transit to campus, work and entertainment is cost effective, it eliminates traffic and parking hassles, and it significantly reduces a student’s carbon footprint.
Automobiles are the single greatest cause of greenhouse gases. They emit about a pound of CO2 every mile they are driven. Riding transit also reduces our dependence on foreign oil.
As an added bonus, the semester pass will give students a way to move to the front of the line for concerts held at House of Blues and Cricket Wireless Amphitheatre.
For Fall 2012 concerts, the first 25 students with concert tickets who show their college ID with a semester pass sticker at the venue’s box office will receive a pair of “Pass the line” vouchers for that concert.
For more information on the contest visit the survey website. Up to 120 pairs of concert tickets will be awarded (only one entry allowed per student).
