Thousands of Aztecs for Life will come together on Saturday, March 23, for Explore SDSU: Open House.

The free, all-campus event is an opportunity to see what life at San Diego State University is all about. It features an information fair, academic workshops, student life experiences, academic tours and open houses.

Open house

Explore SDSU is a university open house for students, family, alumni and interested members of the community. It begins at 9 a.m. until 2 p.m. and more than 10,000 people are expected to attend.

There are dozens of activities for attendees of all ages including live entertainment sponsored by Associated Students and a Family Village with performers, activities, games and a bouncy house.

Life as an Aztec

For prospective and admitted students, Explore SDSU offers insight into what it is like to be an Aztec.

More than 300 booths set up around campus will provide information on academic departments, campus organizations, facilities and programs.

Discover where students become artists and researchers. Take a tour through Don Powell Theatre, visit the Speech-Language and Audiology Clinic or explore the Donald P. Shiley BioScience Center and the Engineering Labs.

Get to know what on-campus living is like with a tour of the residence halls and Love Library or visit the Aztec Recreation Center and Aquaplex.

More than 80 workshops provide an overview of admission processes, majors, career services, military and veteran information.

Aztec for Life

SDSU alumni are also invited back to campus to reconnect with favorite programs and departments and to explore the changes happening at the university.

The Parma Payne Goodall Alumni Center will be open for tours and will offer information about alumni membership, chapters and events.
