As part of the events leading up to this year's Explore SDSU, Aztecs of all ages and the community are invited to get a first-hand look of how research is conducted in San Diego State University’s College of Sciences.
In the Donald P. Shiley BioScience Center – the only center of its kind in the country – where researchers study the role of inflammation in heart disease, displays will be up of heart circulation, cardiac anatomy and actual data recordings of a heart attack.
Tour the SDSU VizCenter, which helps with humanitarian assistance and disaster relief among many other innovative back-end processing and operational needs.

The SDSU Science Sampler will take place from 5 to 8 p.m. on Friday, March 22. Activities will be held in various buildings and labs within the College of Sciences. The event is free and open to the public.
