The SDSU campus will celebrate Constitution Day 2011 with patriotic music.

SDSU program

On Constitution Day 2011, patriotic-themed carillon music will be heard from both Hardy Memorial and Lipinsky towers. University Carillonneur and professor emeritus Terry O’Donnell will perform at 10:50 a.m.

The morning program will include “America, the Beautiful,” a series of five-bell peals, and an eight-bell change-ring.  Various patriotic songs will also be heard throughout the day.

About Bells Across America

On this special day educational, civic and cultural institutions across the country will schedule carillon programs which include bell-peals and music on American historic and patriotic themes. Since the 1976 American bicentennial, “Bells Across America” has become an annual American tradition.
