A national health leader will give a presentation titled, “Science, Practice and Ethics: Meeting the Challenge of Disparities in the 21st Century,” Thursday, Oct. 11.The presentation by Robert G. Robinson, former associate director for health equity for the Center for Disease Control’s smoking and health office, will begin at 2 p.m. in the Parma Payne Goodall Alumni Center ballroom. The event is free and open to the public.About RobinsonRobinson developed Pathways to Freedom, a national program to lessen tobacco use among African Americans. He also chaired the National Black Leadership Initiative on Cancer. He has built several national public health programs targeting underserved communities.Event sponsors
