LGBT Elderly Focus of Lecture

A Finding Leadership Under Identity lecture will focus on the elderly LGBT community.

The Finding Leadership Under Identity lecture series will host a lecture about the elderly LGBT community and the struggles they face.

Guest speakers include:

  • Eric Harrison, Executive Director, Triangle Square Gay & Lesbian Elder Housing, Los Angeles
  • Carolyn Coal, Director,  "A Place to Live" - The story of Triangle Square
  • Guest Speaker - Senior Resident from Triangle Square

There will also be a free screening of "A Place to Live," a film about LGBT elderly and the difficulties they have faced when looking for a place to live.

Finding Leadership Under Identity is a free public lecture series focusing on the diversity of the Lesbian Gay Bisexual Transgender Intersex Queer and Ally community. The series is designed to expand the knowledge and understanding of important topics while build

The lecture will begin at 6 p.m., Nov. 13, at the Parma Payne Goodall Alumni Center.
