San Diego State University will celebrate Dr. Seuss’ birthday on Friday, March 1, by participating in the National Education Association’s Read Across America.
The SDSU community is encouraged to bring a favorite book, blanket and friend to participate in this event that seeks to “raise a nation of readers.”
The read-in takes place from 10 – 11 a.m., Friday, March 1, on the lawn of Campanile Walkway near Hepner Hall.
- Preschoolers from the SDSU Children’s Center
- Parents, including SDSU students, faculty and staff members
- SDSU students
- Volunteers from the SDSU Department of Child and Family Development and Pi Beta Phi sorority’s SDSU chapter
