Anyone interested in learning more about wine can now take their knowledge of wine to the next level by cruising along the California and Baja Coast on Oct. 8 to 15, aboard Princess Cruises’ Ruby Princess ship.

The cruise begins and ends at the Los Angeles Port of San Pedro, with stops in San Francisco, Santa Barbara, San Diego, and Ensenada Mexico.

This educational cruise is offered through San Diego State University’s Professional Certificate in the Business of Wine program. Cruisers will expand their knowledge of wine history, traditions, grapes, viti/viniculture practices, wine styles and future of California and Baja wines

The program will be guided by SDSU's Business of Wine instructor Lisa Redwine and will feature:

  • Private wine pairings, seminars, and group wine-pairing dinner on board
  • Private winery tours in Napa, Santa Barbara, and Valle de Guadalupe
  • All accommodations, meals, entertainment, taxes, fees, and gratuities
  • Transportation to and from SDSU to the Port of San Pedro
