Every year, thousands of community members march down the streets of downtown San Diego to honor the memory of Martin Luther King Jr. The SDSU community, as an essential part of the San Diego region, will participate in the 38th annual Martin Luther King Jr. Day Parade. The parade will be held at 2 p.m. on Sunday, Jan. 14, 2018, on Harbor Drive in the Embarcadero.

SDSU President Sally Roush, Provost and Senior Vice President Chukuka S. Enwemeka and Vice President of Student Affairs Eric Rivera invite all students, faculty, staff, alumni and their families to join the SDSU delegation in the parade.

The SDSU delegation will meet at SDSU, outside of the trolley station, between 12-1 p.m. to ride the trolley to the parade. You will be guaranteed your T-shirt size and a trolley pass if registered by the priority deadline of Dec. 21, 2017 (T-shirts and trolley passes cannot be guaranteed after that date).

Please register online for the parade. For more information, please contact the Center for Intercultural Relations at or visit the parade website.
