San Diego State University is hosting its annual Explore SDSU Open House on Saturday, March 17, and hundreds of volunteers are needed to make the event a success.

Explore SDSU offers prospective students, families, alumni and community members a glimpse of the Aztec Experience. There will be open houses and tours of campus facilities as well as an information fair with hundreds of booths providing information about academic departments, housing, campus organizations, facilities and programs.

Show your Aztec pride and sign up online to help in one or more of these areas:
  • Event set up and tear down
  • Directing guests
  • Staffing information booths
Training for volunteers will take place in early March, and will cover event layout, familiarity with the day-long schedule and important last-minute updates. The first 100 volunteers to sign up will receive an event t-shirt. The deadline for volunteer sign-up is Friday, Feb. 16.

What is Explore SDSU?

The annual Explore SDSU Open House is a free all-campus event featuring an information fair, academic program workshops, tours and open houses. This is a great opportunity for admitted students to explore what life is like as an Aztec. The event also gives students who are interested in applying to SDSU an opportunity to check out all the academic and campus-life programs the university offers.

SDSU alumni also are invited back to campus to reconnect with their favorite programs and departments, enjoy live entertainment, visit the Alumni Center and explore the ever-changing campus.

Additional information about the open house may be found on the Explore SDSU website
