University Art Gallery Goes 'Elsewhere'
On exhibition through Dec. 5, "Blue McRight: elsewhere" is a 10-year survey of the artist's work.

Blue McRight: elsewhere will be presented from Nov. 2 through Dec. 5 at the SDSU University Art Gallery.

A reception for the artist will be held on Friday, Nov. 6 from 6 to 8 p.m. Blue McRight will present a Gallery Talk at 11 a.m., Thursday, Nov. 19. The exhibition and both events are free and open to the public.
10 years of creativity
The exhibition is a 10-year survey of the artist's drawing, painting, sculpture and installation, curated and organized by Tina Yapelli, director of the University Art Gallery and professor in the SDSU School of Art, Design and Art History.
Eighty-four artworks, including a modified 1958 travel trailer, have been lent for the exhibition by the artist and Samuel Freeman in Santa Monica, Calif., as well as by Scott Adelson, Bob and Carol Beitcher, William Butler, Geoffrey Freeman, Samuel Freeman, Steve and Kathy Kloves, Jarl and Pamela Mohn, Lena Muniz, a private collection, Todd and Sharon Squires, and Linda and William Tyrer.
