A new partnership with the U.S.-Mexico Chamber of Commerce will translate into improved opportunities for educational experiences in Mexico. A memorandum of understanding signed during the Chamber's annual bi-national meeting in Mexico City, established cooperation between SDSU's College of Arts & Letters, SDSU's Institute for Regional Studies of the Californias and the Chamber.

This MOU is one facet of a broader effort to expand international educational and enrichment opportunities for SDSU students. In November 2007, the Institute of International Education ranked San Diego State second among universities of its type nationwide, and first in California, for students studying abroad as part of their college experience.
