UNDECLARED COLLEGE COUNCIL

The Undeclared College Council (UCC) mission is to empower students to connect to campus communities, and to explore and engage in their educational, and professional purpose at San Diego State University.

The UCC, implemented in 2012, was designed to help undeclared students connect to campus organizations, advising, and other resources to aid students during their exploratory stage toward choosing a major.

Associated Students supports the UCC and provides the UCC with funding to support student activities. Funding is used directly to support undeclared students on campus by providing guest speakers at UCC meetings, and hosting networking events, socials, and an open forum to gain feedback from undeclared students.

The UCC meets every two weeks throughout the academic year to discuss policies, negotiate decisions and to offer an open space to listen to student needs relevant to supporting and advancing student success.
