Students at a Study Table

Academic Resources

SDSU and the College of Engineering are committed to providing the tools and support necessary to assure that you succeed.  If you need assistance with an academic issue, or a personal issue that is impacting your success in college, we are here to help. After reviewing the resources on this website, please visit the Student Affairs Office in E-200 for continuing assistance.

Tutoring is available for most math, physics and engineering coursework free of charge. For a list of resources, download our Engineering Student Tutoring Handout.  For specific times or information not on the handout, look for flyers posted throughout the Engineering building, or stop in the Engineering Student Affairs Office in E-200.

Once admitted as a declared engineering major, each student is assigned a faculty advisor in the department of their major.  Student Advising is available both from the Student Affairs Office and from your faculty advisor.

Contact the Student Affairs Office with questions regarding:

  • Admissions to the College of Engineering
  • Changing your Major
  • Tutoring, Counseling and Support Programs available at SDSU
