Pardon the dust during work to improve delivery of campus news.
Readers probably have noticed an ambitious new look and feel for SDSU NewsCenter – the university’s dynamic news website.
The redesign makes it easier for readers to:
- Find stories by topic/relevance
- Watch video
- Engage social media
- Find archived content
The new site will feature pages that dynamically display several NewsCenter stories linked by category or topic.
One such page is devoted to campaign news.
Soon pages will publish news specific to:
- 360: The Magazine of San Diego State University
- People (faculty, staff, alumni and students)
If you would like a category page created to display content about your unit/department, please email Aaron Hoskins.

About SDSU NewsCenter
SDSU NewsCenter is published by SDSU Marketing and Communications, a department of University Relations and Development.
The site originated in print form – a four page newsletter called SDSU Insider devoted to internal communications. It launched as a website called SDSUniverse in 2002 and transformed into an external news vehicle in 2005.
