San Diego State will host the annual two-day Leadership Summit on Nov. 12 and 13 in Aztec Center. This year's theme, Student Leadership at a Crossroads: Crisis, Conscience and Challenge in 2010, aims to provide student leaders with a unique experience on the crucial roles of personal values, ethical decision-making and the exercise of responsible freedom in leading.
The summit will offer carefully selected workshops for all student leaders at all levels. These workshops are designed to stimulate students’ thinking, as well as giving them practical tools to apply to their lives.
Three dynamic keynote speakers will give speeches and presentations during the summit, including:
Tish Norman, founder of Transforming Leaders Now Inc.
Rekha Muddaraj, KFMB CBS 8 reporte
Audrey Chisholm, a nationally acclaimed leadership expert and motivational speaker
All of the speakers are leaders in their respective fields of community development, broadcast journalism and business and law.
Registration for this event is expected to fill up fast, and is on a first-come, first-serve basis.
