Primer: San Diego Museum of Art Galleries, Nov. 19

Bill Nericcio's lecture explores visuality and subjectivity in the museum's collections.

William Nericcio, professor in the SDSU Department of English and Comparative Literature, will be a guest lecturer at 10 a.m., Friday, Nov. 19, at the James S. Copley Auditorium at the San Diego Museum of Art in Balboa Park.

The lecture, titled “Eye Object! Between Visuality and Subjectivity: Prowling the Galleries of The San Diego Museum of Art,” is sponsored by the San Diego Museum of Art Docent Council.  

The event costs $12 for members, $15 for non-members and $8 for students.  SDSU students can get in for free simply by showing their student ID card.

Nericcio’s expertise is in American literature scholar, Latin America and Chicana/o Studies.
