SDSU hosts a free film screening of "Carbon Nation," followed by a panel with filmmaker Peter Byck, from 4:30 – 7 p.m., on Thursday, Oct. 6, in Smith Recital Hall.
"Carbon Nation" is a documentary film about new energy solutions that boost the economy, increase national and energy security, and promote health and a clean environment.
Doors open at 4 p.m. and the film will be screened at 4:30 p.m., following an introduction by Sharon Lightner, William E. Cole Director of the SDSU Charles W. Lamden School of Accountancy. A discussion panel featuring the filmmaker will follow the free screening. Light refreshments will be served.
