The San Diego State community is invited to a celebration of “Water” March 20 at the School of Art and Design.
The all-day celebration will include displays of student art and design work plus installations by sculpture and interior design students.
Student research and project presentations will begin at 4 p.m. All galleries and studios will be open to the public from 6 to 9 p.m. Music will be provided by the SDSU Jazz Ensemble and refreshments will be served.
Of special interest is
“Water Works,” a juried art and design exhibition of faculty and student work at the University Art Gallery, curated by
Kim Stringfellow, associate professor of multimedia in the School of Art and Design.
Water is the theme of this year’s
Common Experience, an initiative designed to increase student, faculty and staff interaction around a contemporary theme.
Common Experience is supported by the
Aztec Parent Association and the
Thomas B. Day Student Success Programs.
