The Campaign for SDSU is the university’s first-ever comprehensive fundraising campaign.
It was launched to create new opportunities for student success and to help San Diego State University continue to develop as a leading public research university.
The following are some of the recent gifts received in addition to many others that support all areas of the SDSU campus.
Hilton Worldwide has made a gift of $10,000 to the U.S. Bank Endowed Scholarship Fund in the College of Professional Studies and Fine Arts.
A gift of $5,000 from the East Bay Community Foundation has been made in support of the Undergraduate Equity Trading Fund in the College of Business Administration.
An anonymous donor has made a gift of $5,000 to the Geography Scholarship Fund.
The Camp Able Program has received a $3,500 gift from the Rotary Club of Coronado.
Alumnus Jose L. Agraz has donated $41,000 in equipment to the Department of Biology in the College of Sciences.
The President's Leadership Fund has received a gift of $5,000 from alumnus Bill Leonhard.
Ralph and Pixie Folsom have agreed to set up a charitable remainder trust of $883,000 to benefit KPBS.
The Campaign for SDSU has received approximately 112,100 gifts from donors, and the total raised for SDSU now stands at $494 million.

Through The Campaign for SDSU, the university will move forward with strategic investments in people and programs.
Private funding is needed to attract and retain top faculty, support innovative programs and assist talented students through scholarships.
