The Campaign for SDSU is the university’s first-ever comprehensive fundraising campaign.
It was launched to create new opportunities for student success and to help San Diego State University continue to develop as a leading public research university.
The following are some of the recent gifts received in addition to many others that support all areas of the SDSU campus.
Alumnus Tom Stahl pledged $5,000 to support the College of Business Equity Trading Fund.
The Jessie Klicka Foundation donated $12,000 to support athletics scholarships.
A $5,000 gift from SDG&E will support the Senior Engineering Capstone Fund.
A gift of $5,000 from Gerry Ranglas will support the Friends of Classics Endowed Professorship.
Athletics donor Lee Carson has donated $25,000 for the Basketball Performance Center.
Wells Fargo Bank pledged $10,000 to support the College of Business Administration.
Alumnus John Busch donated $5,000 in support of SDSU Athletics.
The Campaign for SDSU has received approximately 112,100 gifts from donors, and the total raised for SDSU now stands at $494 million.

Through The Campaign for SDSU, the university will move forward with strategic investments in people and programs.
Private funding is needed to attract and retain top faculty, support innovative programs and assist talented students through scholarships.
