Campus Emergency Drill

The SDSU Police will host an emergency drill from 8 a.m. to noon on Wednesday, July 16.

San Diego State University will hold its annual summer emergency drill from 8 a.m. to noon on Wednesday, July 16.

SDSU Police, along with law enforcement agencies from throughout San Diego County, will conduct a training exercise in Love Library.

Love Library floors 1 through 5 will be closed. The library addition, including the dome and Manchester Hall, will remain open.
There will also be a strong law enforcement presence with several police vehicles and the university police command vehicle parked along Campanile Walkway.
During the exercise, law enforcement personnel will practice response to a violent intruder incident.

The exercise will also include a test of SDSU emergency notification methods, including the SDSU Home page, SDSU Urgent page, SDSU Emergency Information Line (866-794-8832), SDSU Alert (text messaging), Facebook and Twitter.
