Aztec Lanes Rolls Out New League

Starting Wednesday Oct. 1, San Diego State University faculty and staff can compete in a league of their own strikes at Aztec Lanes.

Offered through the Aztec Recreation Intramural Sports program, the league is open to SDSU faculty and staff and Associated Students staff. Matches will take place at 5:15 p.m. on Wednesday nights Oct.1 through Nov. 19.

"The faculty/staff bowling league provides a wonderful opportunity for colleagues and friends to get some exercise, socialize, have fun and of course compete for bragging rights and the highly desired league championship T-shirt,” Mark Zakrzewski, director of Aztec Recreation said.

Those interested in participating must register by Friday, September 19. Members of the Aztec Recreation Center play free of charge. Non-members, who are faculty or staff, may purchase a $3 guest pass before each game.
