ENS Celebrates Centennial

SDSU's School of Exercise and Nutritional Sciences celebrates a century of success with a lecture series.

This year San Diego State University's School of Exercise and Nutritional Sciences is celebrating its centennial.

From its inaugural days teaching physical training, cookery and dietetics at the State Normal School of San Diego in University Heights, the school has evolved to offer a range of undergraduate and graduate programs.

For a century, the school has provided top-notch education and training in the fields of kinesiology, athletic training and foods and nutrition. Housed in the College of Health and Human Services, the school also offers masters degrees in exercise physiology, nutrition, and kinesiology, as well as a doctor of physical therapy degree.

Throughout the year the school will celebrate the contributions of its students, faculty, alumni and community with the ENS Centennial Lecture Series, all of which are  free and open to the public. The year will culminate with the ENS Centennial Celebration Banquet in April
