The San Diego State University School of Theatre, Television, and Film presents "ALICE: Curiouser and Curiouser!," a new theatrical adaptation of Lewis Carroll’s "Alice In Wonderland and Through the Looking Glass," adapted and directed by Margaret Larlham.

This production is timed to join celebrations all over the world marking the 150th Anniversary of the first publication of Lewis Carroll’s "Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland."

Audiences will be reacquainted with Carroll’s beloved Alice and the fantastical inhabitants of Wonderland and the "Through the Looking Glass" in this eclectic mix of Victorian and modern sensibility.

“As Alice explores Wonderland we remember and imagine, alongside her, the secrets of our own private childhood,” Larlham explained. “We live through again those epiphanies of discovery or bafflements of the logic and nonsense of the world. Friendly, sinister, dark, mysterious, whacky, intense — the Wonderland characters are really all aspects of Alice and ourselves as well.

Tickets and information

The production runs March 6, 12 and 13 at 7:30 p.m. and March 7, 8, 14 and 15 at 2 p.m. in SDSU’s Don Powell Theatre.

Tickets are $16 for general admission and $14 for students and seniors, and are available through the online box office.
