San Diego State University's Homecoming Week is Nov. 8 through 14, and Associated Students is introducing the official Homecoming T-shirt designed around this year's theme, "San Diego State of Mind."

Jess Kowalski, a graphic design major, submitted the winning design to the annual contest.

"When I heard the news that this year’s homecoming would be titled “State of Mind” I knew I had to find a way to capture the culture and attitude of life here on campus," she said. "I felt the best way to do this was through the direct representation of a palm tree. By having the tree itself sprout from the word 'mind,' it indicates that as students we are always growing. The red ribbon draped across the bottom represents the homecoming sash."

Homecoming t-shirts will be available at the SDSU Bookstore.

Kowalski is looking forward to cheering on the Aztecs as they play Wyoming during the Homecoming game set for Nov. 14 at Qualcomm Stadium with kick off at 7:30 p.m.
