The San Diego State University football program will honor its fans with its annual Fan Fest prior to a scrimmage at Qualcomm Stadium on Saturday, Aug. 19. Admission to Fan Fest is free of charge.

Fan Fest begins at 4:30 p.m. on the Qualcomm Stadium concourse behind the Aztec Ticket Office. Attendees can interact with other SDSU athletic programs, enjoy inflatable games and partake in concessions. Aztec Shops will also hold an equipment sale, and the first 2,500 fans will receive a free Aztec Football schedule cup that can be filled with a fountain drink at concessions stands for $3.

Fans are asked to enter Fan Fest through Qualcomm Stadium’s Gate E.

The Aztecs will begin warming up on the field at 5 p.m. prior to the scrimmage, which starts at 5:30 p.m. Following the scrimmage, the team’s seniors will be available for autographs on the field. Those interested in on-field autographs should enter via Plaza 42/43.

SDSU was recently picked to win the West Division of the Mountain West Conference in the 2017 preseason poll. The Aztecs come off an 11-3 season, where they knocked off Wyoming, 27-24, in the MW Championship game and Houston, 34-10, in the Las Vegas Bowl, to finish with a No. 25 ranking in both the AP Top 25 poll and the Amway Coaches Poll. It was just the second time SDSU has been ranked in the final AP poll in program history (also 1977). The 11 wins tied a school single-season record as the Aztecs became the first team in program history with back-to-back 11-win campaigns.

2017 Aztec football season tickets and mini plans are now on sale. Season tickets start at $125, while mini plans start at $90. Fans can purchase tickets online, over the phone by calling 619-283-7378, or by visiting Qualcomm Stadium's Window E Monday-Friday between 9 a.m. PT and 5 p.m. PT.

The Aztecs kick off the 2017 season at 5:30 p.m. PT on Sept. 2 at Qualcomm Stadium against UC Davis.
