Homecoming 2019 is set for the week of Nov. 3, culminating with the Aztecs football game on Saturday, Nov. 9.

“There’s No Place Like SDSU” is the theme of this year’s homecoming set for the week of Nov. 3-9. This year, festivities include the annual War Memorial wreath-laying ceremony, a fun run through campus, and multiple sporting events culminating in the annual homecoming tailgate and football game.

Take a look at all the exciting events scheduled for this year:

Monday, November 4

Chalking and Pennant Making
Cal Coast Credit Union OAT Walkway, Noon – 2 p.m.
Show off your SDSU Pride and artistic ability by chalking the sidewalk and creating a felt banner to support the team.

Tuesday, November 5

Men's Basketball vs. Texas Southern
Viejas Arena, 7 p.m.

Carnival and Aztecs Rock Hunger T-shirt Swap
Conrad Prebys Aztec Student Union Lee & Frank Goldberg Courtyard, 10 a.m. – 2 p.m.
Come play carnival games and collect points to earn homecoming items. This year’s t-shirt swap is in collaboration with Aztecs Rock Hunger. If you donate five cans, you earn a homecoming t-shirt.

OneSDSU: Aztecs Past, Present, and Future
Templo Mayor, Conrad Prebys Aztec Student Union, 5:30 – 7 p.m.
This year the theme of the night is Trans and Gender Non-Binary leaders. Come hear from past and present student leaders about how their experiences at SDSU impacted who they are as leaders today. 

Wednesday, November 6

I ♥ SDSU
Conrad Prebys Aztec Student Union Lee & Frank Goldberg Courtyard, Noon – 2 p.m.
Show your love for SDSU through fun games and activities.

Thursday, November 7

Pep Rally
Farmers Market, 10 a.m. – 2 p.m.
The homecoming team will be tabling during the weekly Farmers Market. Stick around for the SDSU Marching Aztecs’ performance at noon.

Volleyball vs. Wyoming 
Peterson Gym, 6 p.m.

Friday, November 8

Wreath Laying Ceremony
War Memorial at Aztec Green, 9:30 a.m.
The memories of fallen SDSU Aztecs will be honored at the 23rd annual War Memorial wreath-laying ceremony. This is an opportunity to pay tribute to those who made the ultimate sacrifice for our nation.

NPHC Yardshow
Conrad Prebys Student Union Steps, 6:30 p.m.
Come enjoy this thrilling yardshow that commemorates the history of stepping in the Greek community.

Women’s Tennis SDSU Fall Classic II 
Aztec Tennis Center, all day

Men’s Soccer vs. Omaha 
SDSU Sports Deck, 7 p.m.

Saturday, November 9

FunRun
Conrad Prebys Aztec Student Union, check-in at 8 a.m. run begins at 9 a.m.
Run alongside students, alumni, faculty and staff as you start and end at the Conrad Prebys Aztec Student Union. Following the run, enjoy free food, a photo booth, giveaways and more! Register Now

Women’s Tennis SDSU Fall Classic II

SDSU Alumni Homecoming Tailgate
Wells Fargo Aztec Village, SDCCU Stadium, Time TBA
All alumni are invited to celebrate homecoming with SDSU Alumni. Tickets are free for the first 100 SDSU Alumni lifetime members who register. After that, all tickets are $20 a person. Click here for more information and to purchase tickets.

Homecoming Game vs. Nevada Wolf Pack
SDCCU Stadium
The week culminates in the Homecoming Football game against the Nevada Wolf Pack. The event will be a “RED OUT” as all fans are encouraged to wear red.
