Emergencies can happen at any time.

The safety, security and welfare of the campus community remain the top priority.

San Diego State University has established Emergency Preparedness guidelines website for students, faculty and staff to follow so that the effects of emergency situations can be minimized.

The site includes emergency phone numbers and important information related to emergency notification and campus and individual preparedness. The Campus Emergency Operations Information Line, 1-866-794-8832, is updated in the event of a campus emergency.

Students, faculty, and staff are encouraged to program this number, as well as the additional campus emergency phone numbers into their mobile phones.

For questions regarding campus Emergency Preparedness, please contact Nancy Lopez in the Office of the Vice President, Business and Financial Affairs at n1lopez@mail.sdsu.edu or (619) 594-5937.
