Despite the start of a new year, the SDSU Retirement Association hit the ground running. Golf duffers met the first Thursday, Jan. 6, as usual. Contact Jack Stewart, professor emeritus of chemistry, for details on future events.

The board of directors will hold its first meeting of the new year on Friday, Jan. 14.

Since 2011 is the 25th anniversary of the founding of the SDSU Retirement Association, plans are being made to celebrate the association and recognize charter members who have maintained their membership since its founding in 1986. Aubrey Wendling, professor emeritus in sociology, was the founding president with much help from then-university president Thomas B. Day.
