Public Relations Summer Internship

The SOE Public Relations team is seeking college student interns who are looking to take their careers to the next level. Our internship provides students with real world experience, networking opportunities, and exposure to the daily operations of one of the world’s top video game companies. Interns will assist the PR team with a variety of tasks, including but not limited to: building and maintaining media lists, media coverage reporting, and creating briefing materials for interviews and events. Interns will be able to participate in daily activities, such as brainstorms and department meetings.

Engineering Intern

Our firm is searching for a qualified intern to work on one ongoing pilot project and support additional projects for engineering calculations, data analysis, literature review and report drafting. For this position, the intern will perform daily operations, data collection, and data analysis at a pilot site. The intern will interact on a daily basis with an engineer from Trussell Tech.

UCLA Labor & Social Justice Paid Summer Internship for Graduating Seniors

UCLA Institute for Research on Labor and Employment

Salary Level: $4,800 stipend

The UCLA Institute for Research on Labor and Employment supports faculty and graduate student research on employment and labor topics in a variety of academic disciplines. The Institute also sponsors colloquia, conferences and other public programming, is home to the undergraduate minor in Labor and Workplace Studies at UCLA, and carries out educational outreach on workplace issues to constituencies outside the university.

 This opportunity is a full-time, paid summer internship program for young leaders who want to get in-depth experience as organizers in the Los Angeles labor movement. To be eligible, you must be a graduating senior (graduated by June 2014) or a recent (within 1-year) graduate from an undergraduate program of a university/college. This program is geared towards students who live in Los Angeles and surrounding areas (Lancaster/San Bernardino), since housing and transportation will not be provided.

Solution Marketing Intern

 This position will support the Senior Marketing Strategist, Gas Communications, who is responsible for developing the customer-facing messaging strategy and materials that support PG&E’s gas transmission and distribution projects and integrity management (i.e. safety) efforts. Specifically, the intern will work with internal stakeholders at PG&E and vendors to implement communications and event support that drives awareness of the 811 One-Call service, leading up to and including the planned 8/11/14 events across PG&E’s service territory.

Youth Camp Counselor I

Mission Bay Aquatic Center-Associated Students of SDSU

Salary Level: $8.32 per hour

Employer Profile: Mission Bay Aquatic Center is one of the world's largest instructional waterfront facilities. Last year over 15,000 participants experienced wakeboarding, sailing, surfing, stand up paddling, waterskiing, rowing, kayaking, and windsurfing in one of our class, rental, youth camp or special events programs.

 Under the supervision of the Camp Supervisor, camp counselors will teach and supervise youth ages 6-17 in an aquatic environment. Counselors are responsible for all aspects of camp operations including but not limited to: supervising and ensuring the safety of campers, teaching watersports, setting up and cleaning up equipment, and providing outstanding customer service. Activities occur both on land and on the water.
