For more than three decades, the Quest for the Best Vice Presidential Student Service award has recognized outstanding student leaders who have typified and promoted the mission of the university. This award is given each April to the "best of the best" at SDSU and is known as one of the most prestigious awards a student can earn.

BACKDOOR STUDIO Your new campus media studio. go to as.sdsu.edu/thebackdoorstudio

 

The Backdoor Studio is Now Open. The Backdoor Studio, built for students by students, is roughly 500 square feet of space in the Conrad Prebys Aztec Student Union. The studio will allow for audio recording, green screen filming, audio and video editing, professional headshots and photo editing.

SDSU's Brightside produce - a lesson in business and humanity


SDSU's BrightSide Produce: A Lesson in Business and Humanity. The student-run BrightSide Produce at SDSU program, launched less than one year ago, delivers fresh fruits and vegetables to small stores located in underserved communities and food deserts.

  • April 30: The Viejas Arena Ticket Office will begin distributing any available remaining Commencement tickets (two-at-a-time on a first-come, first-served basis based on a designated day according to college). 
  • May 3: Last day of classes before final examinations 
  • May 4 -10: Final examinations 
  • May 10: Commencement, Imperial Valley Campus 
  • May 11-13: Commencement, main campus 
  • May 17: Last day of spring semester

Midnight Study Break will be held May 3, 10 p.m. to 1 a.m., at the Conrad Prebys Aztec Student Union. This free Aztec Nights event will include breakfast, study tips, contest and giveaways.

VOLUNTEER FOR THE INTERNATIONAL STUDENT GRADUTION CEREMONIES

Help SDSU celebrate its outstanding international graduates by volunteering at international student graduation ceremonies at the International Student Center. The ceremonies will be held May 9 and May 10. Contact Aanika Islam at aislam@sdsu.edu for more information.
