Christine Choong

Hello there! Welcome to San Diego State University and the International Student Center’s Mentor Program! My name is Christine Choong and I am originally from Malaysia. I am going to be a senior in Fall 2019 and my major is Business Management with a specialization in Entrepreneurship. I do have plans to pursue law school after I obtain my undergraduate degree. I am very passionate about justice and helping the underprivileged people. I also plan to volunteer at the Legal Aid Society during the summer! My hobbies include reading, travelling, participating in community service and hiking. One interesting fact about myself is that I am fluent in 4 languages, which include Malay, Mandarin, Cantonese and English. Please do not hesitate to reach out to me if you have questions, could use an outside perspective, need someone to listen, or even just want a hug. I am always here for you! Once again, congratulations on your acceptance and I look forward to seeing you all soon!
