Year-Round ISC Events

Describe recurring events that take place under ISC umbrella, like Peace Village, international coffee hours, etc

Students showcase their heritage and homelands annually for the International Peace Village. Booths representing various cultures will be on display for San Diego State University’s biggest international event of the year, complete with music, performances and fascinating displays of cultural traditions.
The Study Abroad Fair is an opportunity for all SDSU students and the campus community to learn more about the many study abroad programs available.
International and domestic students share their culture with the SDSU community every Friday from Noon - 1pm at the ISC. A different country or cultural theme is presented each week. Come enjoy food and friends from around the world!
Reinventing the International Student Experience at SDSU are monthly sessions which bring accomplished SDSU faculty, scholars and staff who were international students, or have experience with international student and scholar services, together on a panel to share their personal success stories to empower international and domestic students to build the type of resilience needed to work through academic and social challenges and be successful.
International Education Week occurs every November as a joint initiative of the U.S. Department of State and the U.S. Department of Education to promote programs that prepare Americans for a global environment. The International Student Center in partnership with other academic and administrative units plans a number of cultural, educational, and social programs during this week.
