The spring semester is here, and that means hanging out with friends – and making new ones – at the free Aztec Nights.
Get hypnotized or watch your friends go under during “Street Performer Night” on Jan. 22, catch some of your favorite “RuPaul’s Drag Race” performers at “Under the Big Top” on Jan. 23 or maybe find love over Zoom at the “Singles Date Night” on Jan. 30 – couples welcome, too.
Feeling stressed or looking for healthier ways to cope? Counseling and Psychological Services is there for you, no matter where you are studying this spring.
Seven more therapists are joining the department in January, and you can consult with a therapist – often on the same day – about your options. Go to the C&PS website to find workshops, group programs, and pandemic coping strategies and tips.
Just need someone to listen and help problem solve? Drop in for a confidential “Talk It Out” with a C&PS counselor.

Share Your SDSU Passion: Be a Student Ambassador
Are you a student with SDSU passion and pride that you want to share with others? The SDSU Ambassadors program might be up your alley.
The SDSU Ambassadors are a highly selective group of students, who are specially trained to be the official SDSU student representatives, tour guides and orientation leaders.
They provide campus tours to prospective students and families and work at New Student Orientation, as well as at other large events.
The ambassador application will be available Jan. 20 at the New Student and Parent Programs website, along with specific dates, times and Zoom links for the information sessions, which will be held virtually the weeks of Jan. 25 and Feb. 1.
